I am running a LAN with 2 Pent3's and a Pent1 all with Win98se, I have the TCP/IP w/ file/print sharing and ICS working great but... now a game that I have needs the IPX protocol to run over my LAN... when I try to install IPX I lose my file/print sharing plus I am not familiar with IPX so mabey I don't have the right settings. I know that I need the IPX over NetBios thing, I put frame type at auto, max connections at 16 and Max sockets at 32 but after that I am clueless...

Should this work? will the 2 protocols conflict?

Any suggestions please...

You should be able to run them at the same time. On my home LAN I use IPX, TCP/IP, and Netbeui all at the same time and have no problems. Just try to keep it to a minimum for performance reasons.

Mr. Mojo Risin,

I have a small network (1win982 & 1NT5)both with both protocols installed, with no conflicts.

I dunno if that info helps?
