Name a decent proxy

I would like a decent proxy (i am useing analogx proxy - but i want one that caches, can anyone direct me to a decent one?

I use apache 1.3.12 and I use it's caching proxy.
Then only problem I'm having is that it fails on secure site, port 443. There is a patch somewhere but I fail to find it.
