any mid tower recommandation?

i have heard SO Many good thing about so many cases. from elan vital to antec to inwin to FongKai to everything else.

any general consensus on which one is better?

whao. they are too big and costly... mid tower under 19 inch is about right.

FongKai is the one in my mind. anyone has opinion on this case?

my new mach is in a supercase, about 16" hi
3 big bays 2 small. sides slide off. atx $52.00 shiped west coast . I like it.

checked the link to supermicro, those do not look like super case, I got mine at KD Computers. in wis.

You would find it difficult to beat the Fong Kai cases. Either the 600 or the 603. Well made, good power supply, look good. Unmatched quality. Best buy even carries a version of their 600 case. -- convenient.

I got a 600 case locally for $79. Best Buy has the slightly smaller, (do not remember the model #) for $69. I believe.

I bought a super tower from a-open.
It measures about 120cm, which would be around 47 inches, I just calculated.

I think it is a pretty large case, but that is what I want.

I have place in there for about 5 harddisks and then also 5 bays for cd-roms and writers and such.

It has build in places for fans, about 4.
2 at the very back top, and 2 in front.

I love this case, cause it also is very open, I don't have to push anything aside to get to my mobo.

Bigtowers rule for me!!!!

BTW, it costed me about 200NFL, which is about $100,- USD.
I know, it is pretty expensive, but I haven't been sorry, no way, not now, not ever.

OK, I have an InWin full tower case, and I love it. I buy it flowers. It's got lots of room and the coolest thing is the slide-out motherboard/expansion tray. I'm not sure about their mid-towers, but if they're as good as the full ones, I'd recommend them.
