Napster finally down?

I was just able to get in fine, thanks to the help of Napigator. 6:36pm EDT 5/6/2000. 3,350 gigabytes available, so I'd say it's still up and running fine. Were you getting an invalid password error? A friend of mine was getting that.

I couldn't get in under W98 but I rebooted to W2K and logged right in.

I tried it and it didn't let me in once but I tried again and it worked.

It lets me on....but that it. Can't get into chat rooms, and it searches forever with out showing results. It's been this way all weekend. Even on opennap servers.

I think there switching over to aster stuff, napster. I can't remember where I heard this, but I think when its all over, it'll be faster downloads and stuff

I just logged on. At first it asked for my username and password...so I just cancelled and restarted Napster, then I got in. I think some of the "334,000" people Metallica might have a LITTLE trouble http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif Anyway...it's up!

i keep getting disconnect from the napster server, gets irritating, and it takes forever to search for songs.

it's funny that we're not allowed to talk about downloading illegal mp3's yet all of us use napster
