Yes, I would like to no if anyone can give knows of a modem that is stable at a PCI bus speed of 42mhz? I am running my computer at a FSB speed of 83mhz and everthing works fine except for when I am trying to connect to the internet it will connect if I'm lucky, errors and slow connections also occur. 1 thing I have noticed is that this is only is happening when my cpu gets hot. I have a Voodoo3 2000 right next to it though, can that b the problem? all the heat from the video card going to the modem. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

thanx

Get an external modem. That's the easiest solution, choose serial, parallel, usb...

thanx for the advice guys. I prolly figured that was the way to go, with an external modem but I am going to waste that kind of money on that I'll just get a new motherboard 1 that actually supports 100mhz FSB
