This is a really off topic post - Sorry... I don't do this THAT often!

I have a question about the names of two songs.

First - The "AirTouch Cellular has become Verizon Wireless" one which I see about 20 million times a day.. Part of the lyrics go something like, "People everywhere just wanna be free.."

Second - The Oldsmobile Commericial. The music off that has been bugging me for a while, and I want to know the name. The same song has been featured in a few movie previews (which I cannot rememeber!) and was in the movie, "The Skulls".

Any help would be essential to solving my constant need to find out the names of these songs. http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/wink.gif

Again, sorry for the off topic-ness of this post.

#1 is KC and the Sunshine band or something like that. Def. 70's music. The second...I have no clue with that info. http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif

I believe the first song you are looking for is People got to be Free - The Rascals.
It's an oldie.

You're right, shadow. Good job!

As for Right Here, Right Now, fatboy slim may have done it too, but y9ou gotta hear Jesus Jones do it.

They had it as a hit a few years back, and got a lot of play on MTV, although you rarely hear it now.

One of my favorites.
