Recomendation for encryption software.

Can anyone recomend a good encryption software to encrypt files and where to download it.

Here is one I use. Sorry, this one does not have high encryption unless you pay for it. The free version is unlimited in time but low in encryption. (Hope you don't work for Los Alamos).

There are some good freebies out there, I'm sure someone will reccomend. One of the things I like about PC Encrypt, is it can make "self extracting" files so you can un-encrypt them on systems that don't have the program installed.
