Hello!

I have an ancient laptop (486 dx50) with 16M of ram and a 750meg drive.
I'm hoping to connect it to my home network so I can play .mp3's stored on my office machine down the hall.
The laptop has no windows at the moment and I plan to install win98 lite on it (http://www.98lite.net/98micro.html )
So I'm thinking the first thing I need to do is get the OS installed but I can't load one without a CD drive. If I want to load it from the CD on my primary machine I'm thinking I need some network drivers loaded onto the laptop so it can see the cd drive on my network. anyone know where I can get drivers like this?
Anyone have any advice for my little project? I'd like to have internet on it too but I want it priimarily to access music on a machine down the hall. I've got a hub and the 80 feet of CAT5 but just not the know how.
Any advice will be appreciated.

fingre, I might have what you need. Send me an e-mail @ jator@netzero.net and I'll e-mail you an old disk I used to network DOS to a Wiin98 machine.
