Norton Fix for I Wuv You Virus

Theres a norton fix out, ftp://ftp.symantec.com/public/english_international/antivirus_definitions/norton_antivirus/specdef/sarca32.zip. This file has not passed QA, use accordingly.

I just downloaded the current virus definitions for NAV.

You don't need to go to the specdef directory.

I got all mine covered to. after about 6/7 hrs. trying to get in the site ect. and also if you have 4.0.3 you will need to upgrade to 4.0.35 for the virus update to work. I have ver 5.0 on ntws,98se,win2k and all of them took it.

and don't forget to get the patch for win2k. I got it about a month ago and installed it.

I have here on the island saw it shut down u.s. navel bases,tv stations, big bussiness, power company "jea" for the largest city in the whole u.s. jacksonville fl. ect and have been reading all the news on it. it is shutting down the whole world almost.

What was up with Norton???? McAffee had no problems with their website (to my knowledge) and had a fix right away. Makes me not want to use Norton if they're not reliable...
