I have linksys LNE100TX cards. At one end of the card there's an empty socket for some sort of chip. I'm curious to find out what that chip would be for?

That's needed if someone wants his computers booting by network, so they need no harddisks installed and people cannot manipulate the system (quite popular in schools, prevents students also from storing games on the harddisk...) happyhamster 02-18-2000, 12:41 AM Thanks, Crest. I was really curious to find out. SysOpt.com
