free isp

just looking around saw a free isp looked into it and found there access number is same dial up number i am paying 20.00 bucks a month for now! so i am giving it a try seems to be fine. anybody have expierence with these free isp's?

I use cableInet for £10 a month unmetered access 24/7 but i have used others.

But let us know which ones your refering to and i'm sure someone on here will have an opinion.

I use Worldspy.It's FREE, has a local dialup number, and has no banners. So far I haven't been cut off for inactivity. One night I started downloading a huge file (approx. 60 Mb), went to bed and when I got up the next morning I was still connected and the download was complete.

i run worldspy also.i was paying an isp 20 bucks a month.and tried netzero and was getting better connection and dowload speed.and said what is wrong with this picture.and your isp also track you and sell your name and even run banners and get paid for it.so why should we not get something out of this deal???? any way sign up for a couple of them make sure they are running good before you give your isp the big kiss.frewwweb.com is also banner less.good luck

sorry about not telling who it was i am using my standard isp is a local company they are very good and i will keep. i also had gte our local phone company turns out freewwweb uses the same access number this is the free isp i was talking about this is 56k connection we dont have cable here and dsl is difficult and pricey here now maybe will change later. i am just kind of jazzed i can actually get this for free and so far it works great same connection as gte. never would have thought always beleived they were a scam well time will tell will keep primary also which is one world telecommunications. thanks for the replies

I couldn't get WorldSpy to work on my screwed up Win98 system, but I love Address.com because I can d/l large files too.

I just found a new one http://www.thestream.com

but haven't tried it yet.
