tauscan trojan scanner

This is a kick *** trojan scanner, the best i have seen so far. I collect and save all the trojans I get sent, to test these various trojan scanners. Well I had six unidentified trojans in my icq folder under received files (i get trojans sent to me all the time because of my low number, i never open them but poke around in them to see what they are), anyway this tauscan program identified all six of them pronto.......the cleaner found none, so if you are looking at investing in the cleaner i would reccommend this instead. Been running it since that post and I alternate between it and TDS.

Glad to hear Tauscan is doing its job. Ytay, did you compare Tauscan against TDS?

Of course since I bought The Cleaner, it's not good... *sigh*

Downloaded and installed last night.... thanks for the link ytay.

Says the system is clean. Which I knew it would be but wanted to check to be on the safe side. Lots of nasties out there now.

TDS is now up-to-date with tauscan as far as trojan definitions.....norton and the cleaner still not up to speed......but i now have a new unidentified trojan.....we will see who nails it first http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif

Thanks ytay! Great info. I have been using the cleaner as well and am not satisfied with it since Zone Alarm has done a better job at detecting trojans than the Cleaner and ZA isn't even designed to do this. I will give both TDS and tauscan a try.
