Seen that pop-up banner for winning Windows 2000 professional?

The other day during the "Help Sysopt by clicking on some ads" thread, I entered the contest. I just got a call from someone with EarthWeb telling me I won one. I was talking to her and she mentioned that not many people entered last week, so the odds ended up only 1 out of 5. If you see that banner, you may want to give it a shot. (or keep clicking on banners until that one comes up).

I entered last week, too, but since I routinely ignore all phone calls from unknown sources (Caller ID) I'd never know if I won anything.

Did they send you an e-mail?

They called me on the phone because they said I didn't fill out the address compleatly and wanted to make sure where to send it. (I thought I would have filled out the form correctly). I didn't get an E-mail, I figured that was how they would contact me.

BTW, It worked out good because I have Win-2000 on my "test" system dual booted with '98 and finally got comfortable with it enough to want to put it on my "main" system. Now I don't have to take it off that system, I'll have 2 licenses. http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif

and now on to bussiness. like I said I filled out all the info. to the fullest. I just choose ga. as my state.
