Ollie SunRa 02-20-1999, 12:30 AM Does anyone have any good suggestions. As noted in my post below, I didn't have any luck with the SohoWare pnp ISA card with Windows 98 (also its not Linux compatible). I had my network working with dual Netgear PCI cards, but as soon as I put my PCI video card into the other PCI slot in my old computer, I won't boot (just reboots everytime after Windows98 splash screen). I have plenty of irq's left. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Fallen Kell 03-11-1999, 02:23 PM I have a Linksys Ether14 card. It works fine for me, but it is not PnP compatible. You have to use the utilities that come on a floppy to configure its I/O and IRQ #'s. All in all a good brand. kwai 03-11-1999, 02:28 PM i have yet to hear of anyone having problems with a cheapy nic as long as it was ne2000 compat. SysOpt.com
