cpu fan

i installed an abit bx6 2 which is great and i also installed the hardware doctor which is supposed to monitor the board but each time i start the h/w dctr up it shuts my cpu fan down
anyone got any suggestions plse

Hi,
I don't have the same board, mine is the Chaintech 6BTM.

In the monitering software, Shepard, there is an ption to switch on or off the CPU fan. Try looking in the options for your program.

I have a BX6 Rev 2, and I put the Hardware Doctor on my drive as well. Mine kept on hollering about temp of my cpu being too high. I finally got fed up with the beeping and dumped it off my drive. I haven't had your particular problem though.

By the way my cpu never hits above 80 degrees F. I'm just using the stock fan that came with my Celeron 300a. I do plan to O/C to 450 but have to wait until I build a celery sandwich.

I just felt like saying the troubles I had with Hardware Doctor. Probably didn't do you a darn bit of good.

tks for the comments tried everything now and fed up with it wiped it off and will stick with what i have tks for everyones help
