I'm experiencing problems with my AMD systems. I have 8 systems configured as such;
ECS K7VZA w/VIA VT8363 chipset Award 6.0 Bios
AMD 1.133GHz 256MB SDRAM PC133
ATI Rage 128 GL 32MB AGP
These system have WIN2K installed along with the basic MS Office 2k. These machines oftem lockup with warnings or errors, and on occasion they sporadically reboot/restart with out warning.

Have anone else experienced simular problems?

I have the same MB/Processor/RAM combo that you have, but I'm using a GEForce 2 mx400 video card and WIN98. Just built it last week, but it hasn't had a lockup yet.

The problems you describe would commonly be caused by one or more of the following:

1. Overheating - Do you have adequate cooling?? What temp are the processors running??

2. Bad RAM - Some of the Athlon systems are picky about the quality of RAM you use. Are you using a generic brand??

3. Inadequate power supply - Those high end Athlons need lots of clean power. Are you using high quality (preferably AMD Athlon approved) power supplies with at least 300W capacity??

Bad RAM, most likely. DIMM quality control has gone down the drain along with the prices - in the past few months, half the DIMMs I bought or got in new machines were bad.

Visit www.memtest86.com (http://www.memtest86.com) for the only true RAM test.

Thanks, I'll check the RAM to see what I have.
