If you haven't upgraded the bios there is a new version that will recognize CPU's that are greater than 1.3 at

Hi
Bought a Athlon 1.4GHz and a Asus A7A266 motherboard today. Anyone know the jumper settings for this combination. Am I being really thick.

All DIP switches should be in the off position, and the JEN jumper should be set to 2-3. In the BIOS-Advanced screen CPU freq. should be set to Auto and system/PCI should be at 133/33. you will need a 300w psu for stability. Good Luck
