What Bios is it? I checked the bios error codes that I have on CD-ROM. ( The companion CD for Upgrading and Repairing PCs 12th ed. by Scott Mueller.)
Here is the closest error I could find.

Currently there is only one beep code in the Award BIOS. A single long beep followed by two short beeps indicates that a video error has occurred and the BIOS cannot initialize the video screen to display any additional information.

If you are using a Agp card you should
try to press it back into the slot.

If you are using an agp card, the post about seating the card is great advice. I have had numerous problems with seating of several diffent cards in various motherboards. You just have to make sure that it is really seated in place, usually you will actually feel it when it goes in that extra millimeter. And, that is the beep code for a video card error.
