The iwill ka266 mobo that i ordered came yesterday. I was still missing the 2x 256mb ddr ram from crucial so i didnt open it yet. I was looking through iwills website and noticed that there are only 2 on board ide.
Heres what the website says anyways:
Dual ATA 100/66/33 IDE Channels
Supports ATAPI IDE CD-ROM, ZIP-100 & LS-120
This is my first time building a comp from scratch so i could be wrong.. but dont you need 3 ide?? 1 for the HDD, 1 for the CD-ROM (slave is a cd burner).. and 1 for the floppy drive?
I am so confused =(

Well the FDD is not considered IDE to start with. So on your 2 IDE ports u can run up to 4 IDE devices.. Also the floppy runs off it's own cable and has it's own port that looks similar to an IDE port.

Your manual should show the location of the fan headers on your motherboard. Use one of those for your HSF. HSF's usualy come with a three pin connector that attaches to the boards fan header. Your case fans should have four pin connectors that will plug into your power supply. The orb depends on what connector it has. 3 pin could go on the boards second fan header or use a 3-4 pin adapter and connect it to the power supply.
Good luck,
