Got a problem I hope someone can help me with. Whilst trying to falsh my Award modular
BIOS v4.51pg BIOS version 1.30 to version 1.80 on my microstar MS-6147 motherboard I
encountered the following message: "System was not new award BIOS version! Please
update ROM BIOS first....." I'm not new to computers but this BIOS world is a bit scarey to me, I've just fitted a new Western Digital 40gb 7200rpm HDD, to run as a slave to my
Seagate 10gb 5200 rpm HDD. How do I update my "ROM BIOS" and were do I get the update, or do I just need to change the jumper settings aon my HDDs and do something in CMOS? Any help greatly accepted.
