(Sorry, I don't know much about this)

Question: My Bios has the 2 letter id of WW. Can I update to the most recent id being 3r or will they update the ww bios?

The reason i want to know is because i will be upgrading to a new CPU in the next couple months and i dont think that my current bios will allow for me to do that. Also I am having problems when I connect a fan to header #2 on the motherboard(I cannot get into the BIOS when I do that)

Yes, you can update the BIOS straight to 3N (the latest BIOS version) from WW. You don't need to update the BIOS one by one to the latest BIOS version. The latest BIOS version has all the updates from previous BIOS update files...

But the 3N BIOS says that it is for KT7A series v1.3 or newer. How do I check to see if this will work for my board?

As I remember on ABIT mainboards, you can find the version number of your mainboard on a white sticker on the side of the last ISA slot.

I dont have the series that starts with v1.3. So I would use the 3r right?

Yes, that is correct... There were no version numbers for the first release of KT7A-RAID.
