newbie here... http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif
I am looking for info on my motherboard!
according to the chipset:
intel 430-tx-2a59ism9c-00, it is mad by San-Li Technology. I currently have a P120Mhz processor chip and i am aware that it can handle a P233Mhz chip...but my problem is that I cannot find a manual for this board, as i believe i need the jumper settings to convert the 120 to a 233....If anyone knows of a place to locate the manual for this board, or the jumper settings....please let me know...
Also:...i need confirmation as to the RAM of this board..i have 2 slot for DRAM and 4 slots for SDRAM..i believe it can handle up to 256 Mb of RAM and i currently have (2) 16 Mb Ram in the SDRAM slots..and i am wondering what are my options to increase this..as in do i need pairs, singles,or a combination of all the above to reach 256....
Thanks for the help in advance

First of all, Welcome to the BEST http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif internet forum ever.

I have a San-Li board (SuperPower). To bad that they are out and it is hard to find manuals and BIOS flashes.

For jumper settings I would look on the mobo itself. THey are usually written out.

Sorry, I can't help you with that RAM thing.

Good luck.
