Hi,
After installing an AT motherboard, I can’t get the PC to boot.
I’ve got an AT motherboard that I’ve just installed. The case use to have a Full AT and I’m upgrading to a Baby AT with a Pentium CPU. I know that the board works because I took it out of another machine. The only differences are the power supply and drives.
The drives are getting power but the board would not budge. Is there a way that I could test the board to see if it’s getting the power other than testing the P8 and P9 connectors?
The only ideas that I could think of is that the CPU keeps resetting power--good signal because the powers supply is not compatible with the board.
The other thought was that the screw on the MB was shorting out the board. I’ve ruled this out—I tried the board out of the case but still nothing.
Any ideas?
Alex
