This can be done via jumper or by removing the battery on the motherboard. Check you motherboard to see if you can find the cmos jumper because it's the easiest method. If you find the jumper it will be 3 pins most like sitting on 1-2. To clear the cmos change the jumper to the 2-3 positon keep it there for about 10 seconds and then move it back to the 1-2 position. If you cannot find the jumper just remove the battery on the motherboard for a couple of minutes then place it back. good luck hopefully you could understand this good http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif daveleau 08-09-2001, 01:51 PM Yes, welcome to Sysopt! Thanks for joining us! Like jaida says, you need to clear the CMOS. If you remove the battery and it does not work, then you must leave it out for a longer period. good luck Dave VERT 08-09-2001, 04:25 PM when you clear the cmos make sure the power is off/ disconnected as you can cause damage to your motherboard VERT 08-09-2001, 04:25 PM now why did that double post [This message has been edited by VERT (edited 08-09-2001).] SysOpt.com
