MB replacement for Dell

I want to replace the MB in my Dell Dimension XPS-266 with a Athalon based MB. Can anyone tell me if a MB from Asus would fit in my case?

Dell has proprietary hardware in some of their systems. Check out Dell's support site for that board.

It might just be easier to get another case. I've done this for customers and it always ends up being a big pain in the ****.

You will need a new case and mobo. Both are proprietary. At least my PII system was that way. That's how they make money. One thing breaks or you want to upgrade and you need to buy a new one from them.

We probably have the same exact pc. Or had as lightning fried mine. That was my sisters internet browsing pc so no big loss as it was 3.5 years old anyway.
