This computer i call the beast was my first computer. Bought it second hand from my dads friend. Anywas it has a assy fru motherboard which i can't even figure out anything about. For more information on whats in this beast check out http://www.ari-service.com/blender/cache/501856-901.htm
Well what i was wondering is whether or not it will support an AMD K6-II as i wanna upgrade it and use it as a place to store all my mp3s on my home network. If it don't support a K6-II what type of motherboard could i look at to replace the old one. I was gunna use the mbd from my dell XPS T600 when i upgraded it but i realized that it would not fit.
So basically i can only replace it with another soccet 7 or 5 board? Is my mother board a baby AT type mbd?
Sorry I don't know too much about computers though i am trying to change that.
