I would walk away. The support side of the company lacks. That is stating it on mild side also. Look for a mother board from one of the better rated companys. Abit -Asus- Gigabyte- Iwill. These are some of the better rated board mfg's. If I forgot a couple of the better company's someone jump in. If you would let use know what cpu you want to use. I'm sure there would be a lot of answers to what mother board would be a better choise. Here is the web site for them. Have fun finding what you want for info. It is hard to find anything there. http://www.acersupport.com rlpos 07-29-2001, 12:25 PM I run 3 other AOpen board and have had no problems withthem I was just looking at this link and found a bare bones system http://www.softwareandstuff.com/h_dsk_acervm65.html Philip1952 07-29-2001, 06:07 PM I don't think the hassle of the Acer board makes it a good deal. But on the other side. If you figure the price and parts. (A new case and floppy and 300 celery). $79 dollars isn't to bad. Buy a better board. It would make a good internet box. Pick up some used parts. Then you have a cheap setup. (Or xmas present). I'm doing that right now with a pair of Abit WB6's. SysOpt.com
