This is the latest offering from Asus using the KT266 chipset, but is it any good?? Are the VIA KT266 speed probs resolved yet? Should I just wait until the new revision of the KT266 is relesed?
Is there gonna be a raid version of this board as i want more than 4 devices on my system?
Or should i just stick to what i said i was gonna get the MSI K7T266 Pro Raid mobo?

What are ur thoughs on these 2 mobo's?

I want a DDR Mobo, raid(for the extra ide devices) and support for future Athlon CPU's above 1.4gb. I don't care if it comes with onboard sound, but i do want the AGP Pro 4x socket for future AGP graphics cards. This is why i chose the MSI board.

Thanx all

Rob -

I'm currently using the A7A266 (this week anyway).

I like it alot. Jumper free, o/c freindly, etc. O/Cing can be done on the board itself or via the BIOS - take your pick.

As far as the raid, I buit a 1.2 system using the Asus A7V133 not too long ago w/ raid and it was pretty sweet. The only drawback was it doesn't offer DDR. I haven't checked out the MSI K7t266 yet so I can't help there.
