My friend has a compaq presario 5835 and I absolutely have to know the MB specs cause I am trying to get him a new processor. He's got a 500 Mhz celeron in there now, and I am wanting to put a 766 C2 in it. The 2 pros both have 66 Mhz FSB and both fit into socket 370 but I am not sure if the 766 is compatible becasue it requires a lower voltage (1.75 instad of 2.0) and it requres a MB with split plane technology. I have no idea whether his has the capabilities of this. Anybody know of a site where I can get this info?
