I'm currently using a "pc-chips" mobo it only has 2 pci slots 1 agp and 2 dimm slots that support up to 1 gig of pc133 (2 x 512)
i was wondering which board i could get to replace the pc-chip board so that it would have at least 5 pci slots 1 agp support, UDMA/100 and can support DDR ram, atm.. its running with a 1 gig ath. which new board would be a good choice?

I just got the Asus A7A266. It has a socket A for an athlon, 3 dimm slots w/ support up to 3 gigs (3 x 1gig) and 2 ddr slots w/ support up to 2gigs (2 x 1gig), won't run both at same time though. 1 AGP slot with 4x AGP or AGP pro, 5 pci slots. I like this one because I could put in my old PC RAM while I save up the money to get some DDR RAM. Been running it a week with no problems. www.pricewatch.com (http://www.pricewatch.com) has it listed for $131 right now. Its also good for overclocking. Manual has a table for jumper settings if you want to overclock or run it in jumper-free mode and overclock it in the BIOS. Still tweaking everything and haven't maximized this yet but looking to overclock it soon. No matter what board you go with though check this thread (http://www.sysopt.com/forum/Forum5/HTML/006707.html) first if you haven't already. You don't want this ruining it for ya.

The one I just bought doesn't have it. And according to the thread (http://www.sysopt.com/forum/Forum5/HTML/006707.html) it looks like they may be pulling it back so you won't have to worry about it for too much longer. I'll double check my bios when I get home and let you know the exact version.
