In a duel http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/wink.gif I cannot say since we have only seen Vader before and after his prime. I'd say Vader though cuz he seemed to stay alive longer. http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif

Maul...In his time Jedi's flourished and the combat was much more refined. This is the reason given for the much more intense light saber fights seen in ep1.

Yup, Friday night, 1:43am... http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/frown.gif

How 'bout The Great & Powerful Turtle (Thomas Tudbury) vs. Fortunato?

Easy. Vader beat Kenobi. Kenobi beat Maul. Ergo, Vader could beat Maul.

Besides, Vader was so much more intimidating than Maul. Even when his lightsaber was off, people were terrified of him. Maul just struck me as a brainless soldier.

Vader is Anakin, Anakin is the most powerful Jedi/Sith ever.

Maul is only an apprentice.

Vader would ream him easily.

he he....ream.....

I sure hope we do get to see vader in his prime in the next two movies. However we technically never got to see Maul in his prime either. But given what I have seen of the old vader and a relatively young Maul I would go with Vader mopping the floor with Maul.

Dude I can't wait for the volcano fight.

Two words:

Clone Wars

Think Braveheart w/ LightSabers crossed with Saving Private Ryan.

Episode 3 is gonna be DA BOMB!

Dude I can't wait for the volcano fight. How does everybody know about this? I've been hearing about the volcano fight ever since I was little but I've never seen any documentation to back it up. I pretty much assume it's gonna happen but I've just never seen Lucas say it.

So no one knows The Turtle or Fortunato? You guys are movie-watching, unread total geeks.

Just my opinion of course. http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/wink.gif

The "volcano fight" is a central part of the forming of darth Vader so I am sure it wil be in there...and of course a lot of sties are clamining it will be in the one of the next two movies.
