I have an older Dell box that I would like to update the BIOS. I assume that I can flash it with the latest update and not have to flash with each previous update, ie A07, A08, A09..

just flash to the latest version and it will have the most current fixes and should include the previous.

Agreed, you shouldn't have to flash repeatedly through all previous revisions. However, why do you want to flash? Is there a problem you want to fix? Or do you want to upgrade and it's not support in your current BIOS?
