Hmmmm, can't help you a great deal on this one, but I can tell you that there is a java applet that does this.

Anybody else with some HTML and java experience able to provide some more in-depth assistance?

Like This? (http://members.home.net/cam-t/boo/1.html)

I used the program "anfy"...you can go to they're homepage by following that little button/banner that the program so thoughtfully tagged on there. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif It's shareware, so it might pretty limited. I downloaded it awhile ago and havn't really used it for anything...so I can't tell you how good it is, it's fun to fool around with though...lots of applets.

I've downloaded before but I too have never used it for anything. Like seti said, it is fun to fool around in though.

Now that's cool. Can you make that into a screen saver? Can a picture of a lake be turned into something moving like that?

Yeah the program has some option for screen savers, havn't ried it...I'll give it a go.

Yup, that's cool. You can set it as an active desktop item as well.

The bump mapping is the coolest!

I've got some nice pictures of waves. I'd like to make them move if possible. We'll await your answer. I'm installing Netware 5 this weekend. I'd like to mess around with this if it will work too.

Thanks for the heads up.

Things without a bumpmap image look sweet too....like this (http://members.home.net/cam-t/boo3/1.html). http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif

Cool! I'm downloading that software now. I'll see what I can do. I appreciate the help.

BTW, it seems like it didn't take very long to do this, right?
