I've got a Abit BE6 I moederbord (the one before BE6 II) and just purchased a celeron 850. I was wondering if I could use this MoBo without any problems? Or will I have to buy a new one

I was wondering if I could use this MoBo without any problems? Or will I have to buy a new one NDC 06-27-2001, 07:33 AM Perhaps not. Looks like the latest BIOS for the ABIT BE62 which is "TH" will only support up to a Celeron 2 700Mhz... But look on the bright side! With this new BIOS update, it will support a Pentium 3 850Mhz(100Mhz FSB). jaida 06-27-2001, 12:46 PM if the new bios update will support a p3 850 mhz then you should be alright because the celerons 800 mhz and up run at 100 fsb bus. The board will support a 633 mhz celeron which is (9.5 * 66). So it should support a celeron 850 which is (8.5 * 100 fsb).
