Ok, I'm building a machine for games and music composing (AMD). I want DDR and 266 FSB. No On Board Sound. Any suggestions? I am looking really closely at ASus' A7A266. Is there any better choices or should I wait a while. Also, I've been hearing that ALi Magik is nt very good. Is this true? And what is the benefit of The Asus' AGP PRo. Sorry for all the questions.

ALi MagiK was the first one to offer DDR SDRAM support, but now it's behind VIA KT266 and AMD760 both in terms of speed and reliability. But AMD760 mobos are quite expensive, and offer limited o/cing potential, oriented mostly for server market. If you can, wait few months for mobos which will get new revision of KT266 chipset, where previous bugs will be fixed.

AGP Pro slot designed for professional AGP cards which require more power, and available as AGP50 and AGP100 (for Watt).

Best Regards ...
