Once again I am a happy camper. I have been having hellatious problems with my Memorex 2x2x24 cdrw drive. After updating the firmware and installing Win98se it stoppped writing the table of contents on anything, I was even making coasters out of cd-rw media. I found out that the drive is actually a jvc xrw-2080 and flashed it with that firmware. The NTI cdmaker software stopped working then, I tried NERO and still no TOC. I upgraded my system with Win2000 Pro the other day. Yesterday just for giggles and grins I decided to install Adaptec easy CD creator (I also needed some fresh party coasters) and the drive started working right again! Just goes to show what quality software can do for you.
