Netcam

Have 233Mhz Pentium, but want a celeron 400
coming in 120 days, family wants a netcam
installed, But do not want to purchase video
capture card for old system seven board. Have
ATI 3D Expression now. Can I install USB net
cam only or is there another way?

I dont really get what it is you are wanting, but a USB cam will be the least exspensive route, but dont expect a lot from one. The resoultion is usually limited to 320x240 and thats with interpolation and about 2 FPS if your lucky. The parallel cams are almost as bad I hear.

You might want to bite the bullet and get an accelerated setup (Cam + Capture card).

Sorry about that BBA, my question was very
vague, but somehow you figured it out and answered my question. That is I can get by
with just purchasing only a USB cam and have
poor quality, I was unsure if I had to have
a video capture card to use with it.
