Retired board,company site missing, previous
tech moved on, tried some of the jumpers, no luck.

Remove the battery, and then re-install it. That should do the trick.

just leave it out for a decent amount of time. tried it on some boards after 2 minutes and that didnt do the trick. had to leave it out for a good 5 at least for some reason.
defintely look for a jumper 1st. thats usually your best bet. good luck.
