USB DSL modem problems with BH6 mobo

Any one ever have any issues with a abit bh6 mobo and a speed stream usb dsl modem. The problem is I get a BSOD when I start the shut down process.

I have version SS of the bios loaded onto the pc. Which is running windows me with 128 megs of ram. (had same problem with windows 98).
