Hi everyone, I have an old motherboard wit no manual. The bios id is 2A5IDG3AC-00. does anyone know where I can find a manual or BIOS for the motherboard. I would like to flash my bios but I have had trouble finding the manufacture.
I used some online resources and found that I have a sis-5511-5513 chipset, an Award bios and a company called GEMLIGHT manufactured the motherboard. I tried the gemlight.com.hk/ web site but the link is a dead one.
My PC is not identifying the CD ROM drive in Device Manager nor am I getting sound any longer. Even though I can hear sound from the CD drive if I use a headphone.
I’ve tried everything I could think of and I’m convinced that flashing my motherboard bios would at least rule out the possible of bad bios.
Any ideas? Thanks Alex
