I'm on a T-1 connection and haven't noticed a slow down at all. Might be you -

I have been finding Sysopt rather slow for the past few days. Seems to be getting better now, although it could just be the time of day.
what i am finding is the top of the page and the banners load right away and it takes a good 10 or 15 seconds for the posts to load

I'm on a T1 connection here in Norway, and the last days the connection has been dreadfully slow. I also have the problem that it is the text that seems to be loading slowly. Could this mean that the server sided scripts are executed slowly? Time for a server-overclocking session? http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif.

Perhaps time to use the archive feature? Some of the forums with fewer threads/posts always seem to load faster...

It has been this way on and off for a while.
I'm on a cable and i find it loads fast as ever. Someone near you probably got a cable modem and they are now biting into your bandwidth.

thank you. I have been haveing the same loading problems. and so I went in to 98se & ntws. and got the same thing. I just thought it was my isp loaded down. also, dose the same in outlook 2000. so could it be our systems that is causeing the slowdown.
for sysopt isn't the only thing slowing down for me. plus today. I have gotten a lot of those page can't be displayed errows.
I cleaned out my cache, cookies, temp internet files. and still the same. even checked all me settings. ran scandisk and defrag.
all no help. you think the web is getting full. he he
