Is there any way to "dissable in this hardware profile" my floppy drive

I hate all the hitting it does when i first go into my computer. Ive tried everyone's tips to stop it, but nothing has worked. I guess its that document folder, i dunno. Problem is, in my win98 system listing of my floppy, there is no option to dissable it??

If you don't want your FD-remove it in device manager. Reboot. Go into the bios and select none for fd a and b.If "hitting"is the problem.Go into your virus scan properties and disable "scan fd at startup" and "scan fd at shutdown". http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif
