Does any of these new DDR motherboards provide an ISA slot? And does implementing a support for ISA bus into them reflect in someway on the performance of the very ones?

If you really believe these reports that DDR is dead. Why are mobo manfacturers still coming out with new models of DDR mobo's. Ie Abit just anounced a carbon copy of the A7M266, in chipset and bios. They have added raid/4 hd connectors to it. AMD is in the process of manfacturing chipsets that utilize DDR exclusively for the next generation of chipsets for mobo's. Believe me DDR is here to stay, mobo's, vid cards, and anything else that utilizes memory. Since I ,among a lot of others, did a lot of research before purchasing DDR equipment. I do not see any abandonment of DDR products, Just because of a statment made on a review etc, don't make it fact. I might ask, do you have any DDR equipment, and if you don't do you wish you did. Just a THOUGHT

DDR may not be dead, and in fact it could recover and make a great comeback. It has not done what was expected, and the manufactuers are taking a good second look, as well they should. The boards supporting DDR has not matured...they may very well come out of the slump, and do great. Its up to each his/her own to make an informed decision. Not everyone has $2-300 hundred bucks to plunk down on a mobo and ram that may not even be around in a few months.
