I am buying a Slot1 Pentuim3 133FSB processor for a Jetway994AS-L motherboard.
Unfortunately the manual does not give CPU ratio selector key. It only goes as high as a P3 600mhz. I know it will take an 800mhz P3 but i have no idea as to the CPU ratio slector needed. Any help would be appreciated. The Jetway website is no help at all. Thanks

As of this point in time, I have not been able to achieve a stable system using my Jetway 994AN-L mobo. I was told that it would handle up to a 1 gig processor, in spite of what the manual says (600 like yours). Logically, the correct ratio for a PIII800 with a 133 FSB would be: 800/133=6.0

I have not tried updating the BIOS on mine as of yet. If you get curious, check www.j-mark.com/dl/dl.html (http://www.j-mark.com/dl/dl.html)

Although I am using 133 SDRAM, I've was told by tech support to try setting the RAM as "N-33" in BIOS.

I have been able to get things running flawlessly using a Celeron 466, but that wasn't really what I had in mind. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/biggrin.gif

Finally, you should be aware that updated VIA 4in1 drivers are available at www.viahardware.com (http://www.viahardware.com)

Good luck. Please post any success you may have.
