The best I can get on this board is 112mhz.
I have an intel 866/133 cpu. I get "windows protection error" at 133mhz. I can run 112 x 6.5=728mhx

Ax6bc v2.55
Win98
stealth III s540 agp
promise Ultra 100 scsi IDE controller
128 pc-100

Any help would be appreciated :-)

If your motherboard has a BX chipset, it will run the AGP at 1x fsb or 2/3x fsb, and I believe your video card will not run at a very high bus speed (133 would make the agp run at about 89Mhz). Usually, and someone correct me if I'm wrong, win. prot. errors are caused by cpu/mainboard/memory problems. Have you updated to the most recent bios? It may be that your board or memory just refuses to handle the 133 FSB (it is 33% over spec for a BX board and PC100.)

I was sure it could be done. I only ever had a celeron in mine so I never checked it out at the fsb of 133MHz (although the manual & reviews state this freq is easily achieved for P3's).
It might be your 100MHz rated ram.
You may need to change the AGP ratio jumper on the m/board, the default is auto with the options of 1:1 or 2:3.

Looks like Andy_L has the vid side covered, I wasnt sure on that area.
