Ok, i've just finished (well almost, waiting for the rest of my RAM) building my first PC i've ever build from scratch! it's a ABIT VP6 Dual 750MHz PIII (almost with 512MB RAM)I opened up my hardware monitor, and this is what i get under voltages:

+12V = +11.89V, +5V = +5.15V, Core = +1.76V, I/O = +3.4V
-12V = -xx-xxV, -5V = -xx-xxV, Aux = +1.61V

I keep getting errors (and the voltages are in red) for the Core and Aux readings... how can i fix this problem? I've got a 300W power supply attached to the MB!

Thanx

oh.. couple more things:

Why is the system reading the CPU's at 754MHz, and why can i only select "750MHz (100)" .. BUS i'm assuming, in BIOS

Maybe your PSU is the problem, but reading are almost always a little inaccurate, maybe you should check if there any BIOS update for fixing this one.
Do you see "754" MHz CPU speed at post or inside some benchmark utility in Windows ?

It's reading 754MHz in all my windows apps that read CPU speed.. Such as:

Hardware Sensors Monitor Pro:
Internal: 743MHz (now it's 3?!)
External: 100.40MHz
Clock Ratio: 7.5

I'm more worried about the voltages, i don't want them to harm the system...

thx

Not familiar with VP6, but you probably got some "Best Performance" settings in BIOS, don't worry about that one and enjoy the speed http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

Got the problem solved..

Went into bios, and set Vcore to 7.5 instead of the default 7.0, that fixed the core reading. Went into the HWMonitor PRO Setting and noticed that the MAX for AUX was set at what it was reading, and the MIN was also set at what it was reading (*thinks* very odd) anywayz, i changed that setting, now they're all reading decient, nothing in the "RED" zone anymore..
