I am having to run to my MOMMIES house to get online. since my Puter is down. I think I have it figured out and am reinstalling win98 for the umpteenth time. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif Well anyways my mother has a webtv. I could not convince her to get anything else. She is 68 and scared to death of computers. It took me six months to get her to start useing it. I just wanted to say one thing.

It sucks for several reasons
ONE. The refresh rate is very low!!!
TWO. The load time is slow!!!
THREE. The browser breaks up pages if you have noticed some pages say they are webtv friendly. That is because the browser sucks.
FOUR. All you can do is read e-mail and surf.

but I thought that was just what webtv was for, to get people started in internet things and then one day graduate to an actual computer, so they keep it simple. I also just asked why it sucked because I have never had any encounter with it myself.
