What do you guys think? I have some money coming in that i can spare for a computer. Not a new one but like a Celeron 366 or something like that. Should i just build it or shop around my city for ads in newspapers or computer shops?? I think i might build one. I know how to do the stuff. If not I could always as the "smart" people here http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif
What should i do?? I think i know what you guys might say http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

Self build is the way to go..apart from knowing what is in there and costing less you will get a great sense of achievment from it http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

If you can, build it yourself. That way you know what you have for when you are able to upgrade again...

In my opinion, there is nothing wrong with generic stuff. What the problem is when you don't know what you have, it's generic, and you have to reformat. Now it can be real fun to find drivers when you need them.

I really don't have problems with genetic parts but it's a pain when you can't find drivers for it. Maybe i didn't look to hard http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif I had a computer with generic parts and i had to buy new parts. I guess that's one of the reasons why i should build my own http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif But for all i know i will probably use generic parts http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif
