By popular demand, I've added a way for you to be notified when a thread is updated even if you're not the original thread author.

The function uses "NetMind", so when you enter your address to track it, you'll see their web based form. Just submit, and hit the return button on the 2nd page to come back here.

I don't know how often their service checks the page to see if it's updated, but I would guess once or twice a day, so it isn't going to catch posts within seconds. And be forewarned - if you track a thread that ends up with 40 replies, that could be a lot of emails.

Coming in a few months we'll have a better way to do this, integrated into the forum software.

Scott

I think that's a great idea, SysOpt, and I'm going to begin with this thread.

Who thunk this one up? Good idea!

I've used NetMind before to track pages but it never occured to me to use it to track messges in a forum. Good going! It seems someone's elevator goes all the way to the top. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif

Thanks Scott,
That sounds like it could come in handy, oh, btw, did you get enough response on the spell checker to make it a "go" too?
Thanks for the upgrade,
