when installing W98 I go the error message, divide by 0 error or over flow.

I disabled my internal cash and reinstalled W98 with only one problem, It took 107 min.

I was told to clear the internal cash and that would take care of my problem.(how do I clear the internal cash. It's bad enough I only have a 133, but with the internal cash disabled it turned my 133 into a pile of ****.

I'm not sure what "clearing" the internal cache means. Just go back into your BIOS setup and re-enable it now that you have Windoz installed.

BTW, running W98 on a P133 machine may be the root of the problem. It may not be able to run w/the cache enabled. Sorry. W95 would do much better on that machine.

... not quite. W98 runs perfectly fine on P133, albeit slow. Disabling all the caches slows down the throughput drastically, which puts a blanket over quite a few kinds of system flakinesses like poor RAM, bad L2 cache, insufficient CPU cooling, and such.

philippi, eliminate the problem. Check the CPU cooling solution, make sure your RAM is OK, and if still no go, check if it works with External Cache disabled - if it does, you either have a damaged board or one of those old boards with L2-cache-on-a-stick that tend to make poor connection with the board. Reseat that.
